Do you know what you want to say, but you can’t find the card that expresses it just right? Is there a special occasion, or priceless memories you’d like to honor in a way would be like nothing else? Have a poem written customized to your thoughts and feelings.
Here’s how it works. Once you have the person in mind you want your poem written or, and even a vague idea of what is inspiring you to want to write it, I will spend time with you listening to your thoughts and ideas about it, what’s in your heart, and/or what your intention for the piece is. I will make notes of the exact words and quality of words you use expressing it, along with any specific details that are significant. Then I will fashion this written expression into poetic form. Of course, I will check with you through the process of completing it—you can tell me if I missed something, or if certain words I’ve used need to be changed to different words to say it exactly as your expressions and intentions.
Click here to see samples of custom poems I’ve written. My rates for this service are reasonable and negotiable. Pieces over one page in length, or pieces requiring research, cost more. Initial interviews to determine what you are interested in, and what an agreed-upon fee would be, are no charge.
Once a custom poem is written, there are many ways it can be presented. Matted and framed, they make simply beautiful gifts for all to enjoy. I also write articles and short stories.
