WHAT IS SCIENCE OF MIND: Science of Mind (SOM) the Science and practice of Universal, Natural Creative Principle; it is a Philosophy; it is a Spiritual Faith; it is a Way of Life, originally developed and taught by founder, Dr. Ernest Holmes. In the group we will have the opportunity to explore each of these perspectives as best serves the group members, individually and collectively. In addition to regular Sunday celebrations there will be book study and discussion, chances to understand and actually practice how Creative Principle works in each person's life, (which can be very hands-on and exciting and can include participants sharing their creative interests), availability of on-going prayer support for participants choices for Life unfolding, all within a relaxed atmosphere of sharing the experience of being Human. There are Credited SOM Courses, special workshops, or events, as well. It will be rich, with a lot of Fun and Adventure!
IS THERE A FEE: We are establishing a vital spiritual community. While we encourage the value of tithing, there is no fee for regular weekly celebrations and everyone is welcome. Credited Courses have registration fees and Workshops have suggested offerings to attend.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING: All you need is just who you are; all your questions about Life; your stories to tell--and a Notebook will be valuable. Over time, opportunities developed within the community will reveal to us particulars to bring, as we wish.
